i like dublin citi hotel because of the location
the prices of drink is terrible
Location location location
Just a little problem with communications.whither on phone or at desk english is a problem. im a not racist, please note. I personally think its great that we have foreign workers in Ireland. but not sure if its a good idea on the end of a phone trying to understand someone, I find it really frustrating.
good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, duvet!! the staff were super - they let me check in early and even though i didnt stay both the nights - i changed hotels after the first night - they were great.
the hotel is very noisy at night. they provide you with complementary ear plugs - but they don't work, esp if you are in a room that overlooks the main road. poor internet connection
The rooms were ok, the bar was nice, it was a great location but very noisey.
The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel even thought to provide ear plugs!
i like absolutly nothing. this hotel was terrible, there was mould on the ceiling, you had to walk side ways to be able to get around the room. the front desk staff were not helpful at all. door staff very ignorant. will diff not stay in this hotel ever again and will diff not recommend to any body
The location of the hotel is close to all the clubs and shapping centres
The room wasn't cleaned between us going into it and the last ones leaving.
the location was my main reason for staying here.opening the window and finding an old balcony was good, felt as if i could pontificate to dublin the next morning.the recepionist was very welcoming.
a round table with no chairs .even fold away stools would have been nice to sit at in the morning sunshine.
staff were quite polite and friendly. Breakfast was adequate but not spectacular and was held in the nightclub bar area. Was not buffet style and therefore took longer. would be a good place to stay if you are in dublin for a mad party weekend but not if you want a relaxing city break.
The night club on the ground floor of the hotel was deafeningly loud in our first floor room and the earplugs provided did nothing to help. We were out in such a noisy room despite having mentioned we had to be up early. The sound of sirens was very easily audible until the early hours and the room was far too warm with no way to easily adjust this without opening an almost floor level window. this was dangerous and left much more noise in.
The staff were brilliant. The breakfast was nice too. The rooms, bar the dreadul windows, were really good as well.
The windows did nothing to block the sound from the incredibly busy street below. After the first night, there were happy to move us up to the third floor at no extra cost in a nicer room, which I really appreicated, but it was still really loud. At times it was as noisy as it would be if we were sleeping on the pavement. If they upgraded to double glazing, this would be an absolutely brilliant hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all everything i needed including an iron/ironing board and coffee/tea making facilities.
i noticed that there were a packet of ear plugs in the hotel room as the window looking out onto the main road wouldn't shut completely. These came in useful as the hotel is in the Temple Bar area.
Beds and pillows were every comfortable. Location was central and close to everything.
We were put on the 1st floor. The hotel had a Bar and NightClub right underneath us. We were awoken early in the morning with the cleaning, our floor was very noisy in the mornings as well. Didn't get much rest or sleep on the trip. And almost every day the housekeeping forgot to give replace something.
The location: the hotel is basically in the city center
The noise from the pub/main street
Excellent location. Friendly staff. Confortable and clean bathroom.
Not too modern. Really noisy at nights (at least on weekends). Single rooms are too small, but doubles are perfect.
Location, location and location supported by value for money.
The hotel policy of keeping the TV remote controls at the front desk "takes the biscuit". That aside everything else was spot on in my view.
